I’ve heard great things about Leadership Auburn and it has been on my list of things to do in a couple of years.
I love the Chamber luncheons because they have great opportunities for networking… almost like a business referral group, but with out the requirements to provide a reference. And because the references with which you are provided are high quality.
Addition of the 30 second blurbs at the mixers: Brilliant! it should be included in all functions from now on. It’s a proven fact that networking in a casual working environment, you can (in 30 seconds) state your company’s offerings while others can come up to you an get your business card, quickly. It’s a very efficient way of getting your info out.
Another I love was the Chamber’s “Walk About.” I really appreciated what came out of that was showing the great community spirit we have here in Auburn!
